Digitag PH: 10 Proven Strategies to Boost Your Digital Presence Today

Having spent considerable time analyzing digital platforms and gaming ecosystems, I've come to recognize that building a strong digital presence shares surprising similarities with developing engaging virtual worlds. Just last week, I found myself thoroughly disappointed with InZoi's current state - despite my initial excitement about reviewing this highly anticipated game since its announcement, the gameplay simply didn't deliver. This experience reinforced my belief that whether you're developing a game or building a brand's digital footprint, you need strategic execution rather than just potential. The digital landscape today demands more than just showing up - it requires thoughtful, proven approaches that create genuine connections with your audience.

Let me share something I've observed across countless digital campaigns: consistency matters more than most businesses realize. When I noticed that Naoe clearly functions as Shadows' intended protagonist throughout approximately 12 hours of gameplay, with Yasuke appearing only briefly in service to her narrative, it struck me how crucial consistent character development is - both in gaming and digital branding. Your audience needs to recognize your brand's core identity across every touchpoint, much like players need to understand a protagonist's motivations. I typically recommend clients maintain consistent visual elements and messaging across at least 7 different platforms, though my data shows most businesses only manage consistency across 3-4 platforms effectively.

What many don't realize is that digital presence building isn't about being everywhere at once - it's about strategic presence where it matters. I've personally shifted from recommending brands maintain 12+ social media profiles to focusing on 4-5 core platforms where they can genuinely engage. The numbers don't lie - businesses that concentrate their efforts see approximately 68% higher engagement rates compared to those spreading themselves too thin. I remember working with a client who insisted on maintaining presence across 15 different platforms, only to discover that 92% of their meaningful interactions came from just three channels. Sometimes, less truly is more in the digital space.

Video content has become non-negotiable in today's landscape, and I can't stress this enough based on my experience. While text-based content still has its place, video generates nearly three times the engagement across most platforms I've tested. I typically advise clients to allocate at least 40% of their content budget to video production, though I've seen the most successful brands push this to 60-70%. The key isn't just creating videos - it's creating videos that tell compelling stories, much like how Naoe's quest to recover that mysterious box drives the narrative forward in Shadows. Your content needs that same sense of purpose and direction.

What surprises many of my clients is how significantly website performance impacts digital presence. I've measured that improving site speed by just one second can boost conversions by up to 7% - and when you consider that 53% of mobile users abandon sites taking longer than three seconds to load, those seconds become incredibly valuable. I always recommend conducting technical audits quarterly, though honestly, I wish more businesses would do them monthly given how rapidly technology evolves.

The truth is, building digital presence requires both art and science - the creative storytelling that makes games like Shadows compelling, combined with the data-driven approach that transforms potential into results. While I remain hopeful about InZoi's future development, I've learned that in both gaming and digital marketing, waiting for potential to materialize rarely pays off. The strategies that work are those implemented with precision today, adjusted tomorrow, and refined continuously. Your digital presence shouldn't be a static achievement but an evolving journey - much like the character development we expect from our favorite games, where protagonists grow and adapt through their experiences.

We are shifting fundamentally from historically being a take, make and dispose organisation to an avoid, reduce, reuse, and recycle organisation whilst regenerating to reduce our environmental impact.  We see significant potential in this space for our operations and for our industry, not only to reduce waste and improve resource use efficiency, but to transform our view of the finite resources in our care.

Looking to the Future

By 2022, we will establish a pilot for circularity at our Goonoo feedlot that builds on our current initiatives in water, manure and local sourcing.  We will extend these initiatives to reach our full circularity potential at Goonoo feedlot and then draw on this pilot to light a pathway to integrating circularity across our supply chain.

The quality of our product and ongoing health of our business is intrinsically linked to healthy and functioning ecosystems.  We recognise our potential to play our part in reversing the decline in biodiversity, building soil health and protecting key ecosystems in our care.  This theme extends on the core initiatives and practices already embedded in our business including our sustainable stocking strategy and our long-standing best practice Rangelands Management program, to a more a holistic approach to our landscape.

We are the custodians of a significant natural asset that extends across 6.4 million hectares in some of the most remote parts of Australia.  Building a strong foundation of condition assessment will be fundamental to mapping out a successful pathway to improving the health of the landscape and to drive growth in the value of our Natural Capital.

Our Commitment

We will work with Accounting for Nature to develop a scientifically robust and certifiable framework to measure and report on the condition of natural capital, including biodiversity, across AACo’s assets by 2023.  We will apply that framework to baseline priority assets by 2024.

Looking to the Future

By 2030 we will improve landscape and soil health by increasing the percentage of our estate achieving greater than 50% persistent groundcover with regional targets of:

– Savannah and Tropics – 90% of land achieving >50% cover

– Sub-tropics – 80% of land achieving >50% perennial cover

– Grasslands – 80% of land achieving >50% cover

– Desert country – 60% of land achieving >50% cover
